Now that the Medicare Review Choice Demonstration (RCD) phased-in approach has begun, some Florida home health care providers are participating in the pre-claim review (PCR) process. In fact, during last month's RCD webinar 72.44% of attendees stated they planned to gradually increase the claims they submit in order to achieve 100% compliance within the 60 days following the August 31, 2020 start date. As a result, HCAF is now planning biweekly check-up webinars where Florida home health providers can check in and learn about how things are going for those who started the process. Attendees will also hear from industry expert Melinda Gaboury, CEO of Healthcare Provider Solutions, who will provide you with food for thought on key things to consider throughout the RCD implementation process. Whether you have started the process or are waiting to start until it becomes absolutely necessary, now is the time to come together to learn about how to achieve success in this demonstration while minimizing missteps.  Course Instructor - Melinda Gaboury Read more

On October 8, 2020, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced new repayment terms for payments issued under the Accelerated and Advanced Payment (AAP) Program. Come hear industry expert, Melinda Gaboury of Healthcare Provider Solutions, about the specific changes that were made and how your agency will need to comply not only with the repayment terms, but also about the recently released reporting requirements. Take advantage of the opportunity to get your questions answered during an extended Q&A session that is being planned within the scheduled program. Plus, you will be the first to hear the breaking news regarding the newly released reporting requirements for relief funds! With a potentially newly elected Congress on the horizon, home care providers can hope that new relief opportunities will follow. Please join us for this affordable briefing even if you have not taken out a loan or have recently already repaid yours. This webinar will supply valuable information for the next potential round of Covid-19 relief responses by our federally elected legislators. By attending, you will be better equipped to know whether or not accepting future assistance is worth the effort that will be needed in meeting the likely reporting requirements and how stringent the repayment terms are likely to be. What we seen throughout this pandemic is that you cannot afford to make such decisions slowly as the funds are often used up very quickly by those that respond and accept first.
