People with Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disease (ADRD) need special home care. It poses challenges often overlooked in basic training. This course is designed to explain what ADRD is and how it changes how patients think and act. It teaches home care staff how to handle tough behaviors during daily care routines. The goal is to build skills and confidence to provide effective, compassionate care. Intended Audience This course is for caregivers who work with patients who have Alzheimer's Disease and Related Dementias (ADRD). It includes home health aides, certified nursing assistants, personal care assistants, and companions.
