
Description
This session will address changes to CoPs subparts B (patient care) and C (organizational environment), which cover: compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to health and safety of patients; emergency preparedness; organization and administration of services; clinical records; personnel qualifications; basis and scope; and, release and reporting of patient identifiable OASIS information.
Objectives
Attendee will: - Demonstrate a greater understanding of the changes made to the Medicare Conditions of Participation as they relate to patient care,emergency prepardedness and overall agency organizational structure and function - Demonstrate an understanding of the necessary changes a home health agency will need to make to policies and procedures in an effort to come into compliance with these changes
