The new Medicare discharge planning rule should be an eye opener for many home health providers. Outcomes have always played an important role in the process, but now hospitals will have to report your agency’s care outcomes to prospective patients. The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) believes that this policy change will improve transitions of care, increase a patient’s ability to access their health care information in a timely manner, and complement and align with efforts to improve interoperability across the care continuum. CMS also believes this supports patientcentered care and focuses on the patient as the driver of their health care, while simultaneously supporting the patient’s right to make their own health care decisions. Hospitals and home health agencies will need to comply with the new discharge requirements before November 29, 2019. Join Home Health Solutions CEO J’non Griffin next Friday, November 8 for a webinar presentation on this new requirement. During this presentation, attendees will find out why institutional referrals are more important under the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM), and how providers must adapt to the changes and be the patient’s provider of choice. In addition, attendees will learn what new discharge planning requirements home health providers are responsible to carry out in order to be in compliance.    Course Author: J'non Griffin  Read more

Before prospective clients consider your company, they almost always check out your online presence first. A website is a key marketing tool for doing business nowadays, especially for the new generation of decision makers. However, not all websites are created equal and some can even negatively impact a business’ credibility and perceived quality, ultimately leading to a loss in revenue. In today’s fast paced world, it takes only 50 milliseconds or .05 seconds for most visitors to form an opinion of a website and decide whether to explore it further or just leave. Unfortunately, many busy professionals still put their website or even the idea of having an online presence on the backburner. In this webinar, we will discuss what it takes to make that first good impression. Whether you are looking to build your first website, or if your current one needs revamping because it is not receiving the level of traffic or generating the number of leads you hoped for, this webinar will explore strategies necessary for a well-performing website. Your company website should not only attract visitors and educate them, but it should convince them to want to conduct business with you. Course Author: Lynn Lobit Read more
