This course is built to satisfy the patient grievances requirement for home care. The goal of this course is to educate employees on interacting with patients who are presenting complaints, best practices in communicating with patients, getting feedback, handling and addressing complaints and grievances, and using the HEART Philosophy to resolve complaints.
The course targets anyone who works in a home care setting. This means nurses, CNAs, home health aides, therapists, and office staff.
The objectives for this course are:
- Demonstrate how to address complaints
- Demonstrate best practices on interacting with patients who are presenting complaints
- Perform the HEART Philosophy to address and resolve complaints
